Bühl (landscape protection area)

The Bühl landscape protection area is a protected landscape area (LSG number 1.16.058) in the Baden-Württemberg community of Erkenbrechtsweiler , which was designated by the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the Esslingen District Office of February 17, 1977 .

The 6.2 hectare area naturally belongs to the Middle Kuppenalb (natural area 094). It is located north of the center of the municipality of Erkenbrechtsweiler within the built-up area.

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is to keep the flat top of the "Bühl" free, which is an elevation between two basalt chimneys of the Urach volcanic area created by reversing the relief . It clarifies the morphological and historical situation and creates a valuable free space in the immediate vicinity of the town center and the Heidengraben cultural monument .
