The landscape protection area Neidlinger Tal is a landscape protection area (LSG numbers 1.16.016) in the area of the Esslingen district in Baden-Wuerttemberg, designated by ordinance of the Esslingen District Office of December 18, 1975 .
location
The 1096.8 hectare area includes the entire district of Neidlingen with the exception of the local area and a 300 to 500 meter wide strip of land on both sides of the state road 1200 north of the village.
The Neidlinger Tal belongs to the natural areas 094- Mittlere Kuppenalb and 101- Mittleres Albvorland within the main units 09 Swabian Alb and 10- Swabian Keuper-Lias-Land . The nature reserves No. 1072 Erkenbergwasen and 1190 Unter dem Burz are completely enclosed by the LSG. For its part, the Neidlinger Tal is completely surrounded by protected landscape areas. It borders in the north on the Weilheim an der Teck area in the Weilheim and Hepsisau districts , in the west on areas around Bissingen and Ochsenwang , in the south on parts of the landscape and parts of the landscape in the Nürtingen district and in the east on the two areas of Oberes Filstal-Stadt Wiesensteig and Oberes Filstal -Guibingen municipality in the Göppingen district. The entire area also belongs to the bird sanctuary 7422-441 Middle Swabian Alb , parts of the Neidlinger valley also belong to the FFH area No. 7423-341 Neidlinger Alb .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the large-scale landscape with the alternation of wooded and arable parts.
