The Autmuttal-Kohlberg landscape protection area is a protected landscape area (LSG number 1.16.052) on the territory of the municipality of Kohlberg , which was designated by the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the Esslingen District Office of March 24, 1975 .

Location and description

The 139.0 hectare area naturally belongs to the Middle Alb foreland . It lies northwest and west of the municipality of Kohlberg and borders the Grafenberg mark .

Protection purpose

The upper Autmuttal is protected . Lateral blades and steep slopes give the quite wide valley an interesting relief with forest on the northeast slopes and vineyards and orchards on the south and west slopes.
