Hanna Mykolajewna Hopko ( Ukrainian Ганна Миколаївна Гопко * 4. March 1982 in Hanatschiwka , Rajon Peremyshliany , Lviv Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian activist , journalist and politician of the party Samopomitsch .

In 1999 she graduated from high school. In 2004 she completed her journalism studies at the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv and then worked as a correspondent for the television station Inter in Lviv . From 2005 she worked as a writer for the TV station 5 Kanal .

After the events of Euromaidan , Hopko co-founded a citizens' initiative to introduce reforms in February 2014, which consisted of over 100 experts. They drafted laws, several of which were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada , such as the Law on Transparency of Intergovernmental Agreements and the Law on Independent Public Broadcasting.

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 , Hopko was number 1 in the Samopomitsch party and was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada.

Private

Hopko is married and has one daughter.
