Hannes Anton

Hannes Anton (born January 8, 1964 ) is an Austrian politician ( FPK , formerly BZÖ ) as well as an entrepreneur and manager. From 2009 to the end of 2014 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school and the Bundesreal high school, Anton completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith and worked from 1985 to 2001 as sales manager at the Vereinigte Kärntner Brauereien AG in Villach. He then worked from 2001 to 2002 as branch manager of the Schleppe brewery in Klagenfurt , which belongs to the group . As a result, Anton moved in 2002 as a department head in event management for Kärnten Werbung. In 2004 he founded his own event and event agency and left Kärnten Werbung in 2005. He was then Marketing Manager at Casinos Austria between 2005 and 2009 .

Anton was presented on January 19, 2009 as a surprise candidate of the Freedom Party in Carinthia (then BZÖ) for the state elections in 2009 and was given a secure place in the list with fourth place on the BZÖ state list. As a result, he was sworn in as a member of the Carinthian state parliament on March 31, 2009 and took on the role of area spokesman for tourism and sport in the Freedom State Parliament Club. Anton was a member of the board of the SK Austria Kärnten .

Hannes Anton left the Carinthian state parliament on December 31, 2014. On April 1, 2015, Anton took over the management of Podersdorf Tourismus and Tourismus- und Freizeitbetriebs-GmbH and moved his residence from Carinthia to Burgenland.

In March 2017 it was announced that Anton will be the new managing director of the Burgenland Tourism regional company from July 2017 . In May 2020, its early replacement on September 1, 2020 was announced.

Anton is the father of one son.
