Daniel "Danny" Lee Rose (born July 2, 1990 in Doncaster ) is an English football player who is currently under contract with Tottenham Hotspur and on loan to Newcastle United .
Career
society
Rose learned to play football at Leeds United's youth academy and moved to Tottenham Hotspur on July 25, 2007 for a million pound transfer fee . In March 2009 he was loaned to Watford FC and made his professional debut there on April 4 against the Doncaster Rovers . In June 2009 he was appointed to the English U-21 team for the U-21 European Championship and was used during the course of the tournament.
After his return to Tottenham he was loaned out again. From September 2009 he played for Peterborough United after Sir Alex Ferguson recommended him to his son Darren , who worked in Peterborough. Rose was originally supposed to stay in Peterborough until January 2010, but returned to Tottenham in November. On April 14, 2010, he first appeared in the Premier League team and scored the spectacular winning goal to 2-1 against Arsenal London .
To gain more match practice, Rose was loaned to Bristol City in September 2010 . Tottenham secured the option to end the loan at any time after the first 28 days. Rose returned to Tottenham in February 2011.
On August 31, 2012, Rose was awarded to Sunderland AFC for the 2012/13 season . Danny Rose returned to Tottenham after 27 games and one goal.
National team
On March 26, 2016, he played his first international match in a 3-2 win against world champions Germany in Berlin and was in the starting line-up.
At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in England's squad. He was a regular player and only stayed on the bench in the third group game against Slovakia. In the last sixteen he was eliminated with the team against Iceland.
