Bamidele "Dele" Jermaine Alli (born April 11, 1996 in Milton Keynes ) is an English football player . The central midfielder is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur and is an English international .
childhood
Alli is the son of a Nigerian and an Englishwoman. As one of his mother's four children, each with a different father, he played football with other children on the street in his youth. When his mother threatened to lose custody, she sent her then 13-year-old son to Cosgrove Village to live with a friend's parents.
Career
societies
Alli began his career with City Colts FC and joined the youth of the Milton Keynes Dons in 2007 at the age of eleven . There he moved up to the professional squad for the 2012/13 season . On December 29, 2012, he came in the 3-2 defeat by Coventry City to his debut in Football League One . He scored his first goal on September 28, 2013 in a 4-1 win over Stevenage FC . On September 20, 2014, he met Alexandra three times in a 6-1 win against Crewe . Alli scored a total of 22 goals in 74 games in League One.
On February 2, 2015, Alli was signed by Tottenham Hotspur . He received a contract valid until June 30, 2020, but played the 2014/15 season on loan at Milton Keynes Dons to the end. With the Dons he rose to runner-up in the Football League Championship . Alli was then named to the PFA Team of the Year .
For the season 2015/16 Alli joined the team of Tottenham Hotspur. He made his debut on Matchday 1 in the 1-0 away defeat by Manchester United in the Premier League , after being substituted on for Eric Dier in the 77th minute . On August 22, 2015, he scored his first goal in the Premier League in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City . On matchday five, Alli was in the starting line-up for a league game for the first time and subsequently fought for a regular place. With the Spurs he also played in the Europa League during the season and reached the knockout round as group winners , in which the team made it to the round of 16 . The club finished the championship in third place in the table. Alli was again elected Team of the Year by the English players' union PFA in mid-April 2016 and was also named the best young player. In September 2016, Alli extended his contract with Tottenham until 2022. On December 7, 2016, Alli scored his first goal in the Champions League in a 3-1 home win against PFK CSKA Moscow . With Tottenham he won the English runner- up in the season ; Alli contributed 18 goals in 37 missions and finished sixth in the scorers list as the most dangerous midfielder in the league . At the end of the season he was reappointed to the PFA Team of the Year and was named England's Young Professional of the Year. At the end of October 2018, Alli's contract was prematurely extended to 2024.
National team
Alli played nine times for the U17 team of the English Football Association from 2012 to 2014 . At the beginning of March 2014 he came to two missions for the U18 . On September 8, 2014, he played for the U19 national team for the first time in a 1-1 friendly match against Germany and played for them in a total of four games until November 2014. In September 2015, Alli played twice for the U21 team .
On October 9, 2015, Alli made his debut in a 2-0 win at Wembley Stadium in London in the European Championship qualification against Estonia in the senior team , after being substituted on for Ross Barkley in the 87th minute . In the 2-0 win in the friendly against France on November 17, 2015, he scored his first goal for the national team with the 1-0 goal. For the European Championship 2016 in France , Alli was appointed to the English squad by national coach Roy Hodgson . In May 2018, Alli was appointed to the English squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia by new national coach Gareth Southgate . Alli was used five times in the tournament and finished fourth with his team.
