The Spengler Cup 2013 ( French Coupe Spengler 2013 ) was the 87th edition of the competition of the same name and took place from December 26th to 31st, 2013 in the Swiss climatic health resort of Davos . The local Vaillant Arena acted as the venue . A total of 68,668 spectators attended the eleven tournament games, which corresponds to an average of 6,242 per game.

It was won by Genève-Servette HC , who won the tournament with a 5-3 victory in the final over HK CSKA Moscow . Already in the qualification the Swiss had won the game 4: 3 in overtime . With the Genève-Servette HC, a Swiss team other than the host HC Davos won for the first time since 1945 . At that time the Zürcher SC had won the title. With the Rochester Americans from the American Hockey League , a North American franchise took part in the tournament for the first time since 1996 . The Amerks had also traveled to Switzerland 17 years ago .

The Canadian Matthew Lombardi in the service of the tournament winner from Geneva was the most successful player in the tournament with eight points , including four goals.
