The Spengler Cup 2014 ( French Coupe Spengler 2014 ) was the 88th edition of the competition of the same name and took place from December 26th to 31st, 2014 in the Swiss climatic health resort of Davos . The local Vaillant Arena acted as the venue . A total of 68,934 spectators attended the eleven tournament games, which corresponds to an average of 6,266 per game.

It won again the Genève-Servette HC , who won the tournament with a 3-0 victory in the final over Salawat Julajew Ufa . Already in the qualification the Swiss had won the game 3-2. The Genève-Servette HC thus defended the title win of the previous year .

The Swiss Romain Loeffel in the service of the tournament winner from Geneva was the most successful player in the tournament with six points , including two goals.

The six participating teams initially played in two preliminary round groups - named after the Davos ice hockey legends Richard Torriani and the Cattini brothers Ferdinand and Hans - three teams each in a single round in the " everyone against everyone " mode , so that each team initially played two games Placements based on points.
