Alexei Wladimirowitsch Gluchow ( Russian Алексей Владимирович Глухов ; born April 5, 1984 in Voskressensk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Alexei Gluchow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Chimik Voskressensk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Vysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, in the 2001/02 season . In the following season he and his team were promoted to the super league . The 2004/05 season began again in Woskressensk, where he ran parallel for the second division Kristall Elektrostal . During the season, however, he went to North America, where he scored five goals in 32 games for the Victoria Salmon Kings and gave twelve templates. He also came to three missions for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League .

For the 2005/06 season Gluchow returned to his Russian homeland and signed a contract with Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast . From 2006 to 2008 he played for his Super League rival Severstal Tscherepowez . From the 2008/09 season he was in the newly founded Continental Hockey League for Atlant Mytishchi on the ice, as his ex-club Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast has been called since it was accepted into the KHL.

In May 2012 he moved to Salawat Julajew Ufa , where he signed a three-year contract. After this, he moved to HK Awangard Omsk in June 2015 and was under contract there until November 2016. He then played for HK Sibir Novosibirsk and completed 31 games for Sibir by the end of the season.

International

In 2011 Gluchow took part in the Euro Hockey Tour for Russia .
