The Spengler Cup 1975 ( French Coupe Spengler 1975 ) was the 49th edition of the competition of the same name and took place from December 26th to 31st, 1975 in the Swiss climatic health resort of Davos . The ice rink there served as the venue . The tournament was won by the Czechoslovak national B team with three wins and one draw from four games.

Attendees

Five national teams took part in the tournament, with Finland and Czechoslovakia each represented by a B national team. The Czechoslovak team consisted of U19 national junior players who had not been nominated for the Junior World Cup taking place at the same time. The Finnish team, which was also known as the Olympic selection , consisted partly of junior national players and partly of players from Porin Ässät and Tappara .

mode

The five participating teams played in a single round in the " everyone against everyone " mode , so that each team played four games. The team with the highest points won the tournament.
