The Spengler Cup 1964 ( French Coupe Spengler 1964 ) was the 38th edition of the competition of the same name and took place from December 26th to 30th, 1964 in the Swiss climatic health resort of Davos . The ice rink there served as the venue .

The winner of the EV Fussen , who remained unbeaten in all four tournament games, before MoDo Alfredshem IK . Bayern, who won their first two tournament games and then secured first place in the table with two draws, celebrated their second tournament victory at the Spengler Cup. They secured their first title in 1952 and in the meantime took second place in the final ranking four times. It was the fifth tournament victory for a German team. Last year's winner TJ Spartak Prague Sokolovo took third place after losing a 4-1 lead in the final section of the game against the eventual tournament winner from Füssen.

mode

The five participating teams played in a single round in the " everyone against everyone " mode , so that each team played four games. The team with the highest points won the tournament.
