Jaroslav Korbela (born May 20, 1957 in České Budějovice , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player .
Career
Jaroslav Korbela began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of TJ Motor České Budějovice , for whose senior team he made his debut in the first division , the highest Czechoslovak division, in the 1977/78 season . Then he had to do his military service and played in the 1979/80 season for the army sports club ASVŠ Dukla Trenčín . From 1980 to 1988 the attacker ran again for TJ Motor České Budějovice before ending his career at the age of 31.
International
For Czechoslovakia Korbela took part in the World Championships in 1981 and 1982 and the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo in 1984 . At the 1981 World Cup he won the bronze medal with his team, and the silver medal at the 1982 World Cup and the 1984 Winter Olympics.
