Félicien Du Bois (born October 18, 1983 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) is a Swiss ice hockey player . He has been playing in the National League for HC Davos since the 2014/15 season .
Career
Félicien Du Bois grew up in a rural area near La Chaux-de-Fonds . His career began at the age of 19 with the juniors of HC Ambrì-Piotta and there he soon became a top performer. In 2002 he made his debut in the first team of the club in the National League A . After he had matured into a team support and national player in Ambrì and had booked a total of 72 scorer points , he was committed to the 2008/09 season by the Kloten Flyers . In his first season for his new club, he reached 26 points scorer in the main round of the NLA. Last year Du Bois had to complete a mammoth program due to many injuries in the team. Ice ages of over 30 minutes were no longer the exception last autumn, but the rule.
His strengths are the speed, the game intelligence and a hard shot. That made him an important pillar in the Kloten power play.
During the 2013/14 season he decided to move within the NLA and signed a four-year contract with HC Davos which will apply from 2014.
International
Félicien Du Bois is a member of the Swiss national team and played at the 2009 home World Cup for the first time .
