Nando Eggenberger (born October 7, 1999 in Chur ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Davos from the National League again since July 2019 .
career
Eggenberger is the son of the former cross-country skier Marlies Eggenberger. In 2012 he moved from his parent club EHC Chur to HC Davos and went through the local youth department from the U15 level. In the 2015/16 season, exactly on January 2, 2016 against the ZSC Lions , he made his debut for the Bündner in the National League A (NLA) and was also used for the first time in the Champions Hockey League in the following season .
As part of the CHL Import Draft, he was selected by the Oshawa Generals in 2018 and decided to move to the Ontario Hockey League . After not being selected in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft , Eggenberger returned to HC Davos.
National team
Eggenberger completed international assignments for the national teams in the age range U16, U18 and U20. At the end of 2016 / beginning of 2017 he took part in the U20 World Cup in Canada. In 2012 he played in Québec at the International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, a kind of unofficial U13 World Cup.
