Enzo Corvi (born December 23, 1992 in Chur, GR ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who is currently under contract in the National League with the Graubünden club HC Davos .

Career

Corvi was initially active in the youngsters of the EHC Chur , for which he made his debut in the highest Swiss amateur league during the 2008/09 season. After relegation to the second highest amateur league, the Graubünden player also gained match practice with the Chur elite B-Juniors. After returning to the top amateur league , Corvi was signed by HC Davos from the National League A in spring 2012 . In the 2012/13 season, the attacker played eight games for HC Thurgau in the National League B on loan .

With HC Davos he took part in the prestigious Spengler Cup in 2012 and lost the final against Team Canada 2: 7. At this tournament Corvi scored his first goal for the first team of HC Davos on December 28, 2012 in the game against Adler Mannheim . Corvi had the privilege of forming a storm line with Joe Thornton and Sven Ryser .

In the 2013/14 season , the right-handed shooter finally made his breakthrough in the highest Swiss professional league, when he played a total of 54 NLA games and scored 19 points . In the following year, Corvi won the Swiss championship with HC Davos . In February 2016 Corvi signed a new contract until the end of April 2019. He finished the 2016/17 season (main round) internally as the third-best point collector, only Andres Ambühl and Perttu Lindgren were more successful.

International

Corvi was on the ice for the Swiss senior team for the first time during the 2015/16 season. He came to two missions and one goal. For Switzerland, the native of Graubünden took part in the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 World Cup. In the 2018 world championships, he won the silver medal with Eisgenossen .
