Playouts

mode

There was a change in the play-out mode compared to the previous season. The first round of play-outs is replaced by a round of relegation for the four teams in positions nine to twelve. The teams take the points from the main round with them to the relegation round.

After the relegation round, which lasts six game days, the two clubs in positions eleven and twelve determine the NLA's last-placed team in Best of Seven , who then has to play the league qualification against the NLB champions.
