The 2013/14 season was the 77th season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league .

After the Hungarian league had consisted exclusively of a playoff round since the MOL League was founded, in which the MOL League participants and SAPA Fehérvár AV 19 participated, no separate games have been played as the Hungarian championship since the 2012/13 season. Instead, the best-placed Hungarian team in the MOL league will be chosen as the Hungarian champions.
