The 1942/43 season was the seventh season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league . Champion was for the second time in the history of the BBTE Budapest club .
mode
The championship was divided into three regional groups in the main round. The best four teams qualified for the final tournament, the winner of which became champions. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.

- The BBTE Budapest and the BKE Budapest did not qualify for the final tournament, the Ferencvárosi TC were the only ones not.
