Davor Landeka (born September 18, 1984 in Posušje , SR Bosnia and Herzegovina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player .
Life
career
Landeka started his career in 1989 at NK Posušje . There he played up to the D-youth and in 1993 moved to the youth department of the Croatian champions Croatia Zagreb .
In spring 2003 he began his senior career at Zrinjski Mostar , which in summer 2003 gave him back to Dinamo Zagreb for half a year . After failing to assert himself in Croatia , he returned to Zrinjski Mostar in December 2003. There he played in 153 games by the summer of 2008, scoring six goals. In 2008 he returned to Croatia and signed with HNK Rijeka . There he developed into a high performer and stayed until the summer of 2011. During the 2011 summer break, he moved to Switzerland to the Grasshopper Club Zurich, where he signed a three-year contract. In summer 2012 he dissolved his three-year contract with the Swiss Super League club Grasshopper Club Zürich and moved back to Bosnia, where he signed with NK Široki Brijeg at the end of June .
National team
Landeka played a few games for the Bosnian U-21 national football team.
Private
His younger sister Iva Landeka is the captain of the Croatian national soccer team and his older brother Ivica Landeka played in Croatia a. a. for NK Croatia Sesvete and GNK Dinamo Zagreb . His cousin is Josip Landeka , who plays in Germany .
