The 1992/93 season was the 56th season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league . Ferencvárosi TC became champion for the 22nd time in the club's history .

First, the seven teams played a common main round, before the four best-placed teams played in the final round, the two first-placed teams qualified for the championship final, while the other three teams competed in a placement round for fifth place. The results from the main round were taken over into the final / placement round. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
