The 1993/94 season was the 57th season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league . Ferencvárosi TC became champion for the 23rd time in the club's history . The Debreceni AHC was relegated to the 2nd division.

mode

First, the seven teams played a common main round, before the four best-placed teams played in the final round, the two first-placed teams qualified for the championship final, while the remaining three teams competed in a relegation round, the last-placed teams relegated to the 2nd division. The results from the main round were taken over into the final / placement round. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
