The 1941/42 season was the sixth season of the Hungarian Ice Hockey League , the highest Hungarian ice hockey league . BKE Budapest became champion for the fifth time in the club's history .

mode

The championship was divided into two regional groups in the main round. The first two in each group qualified for the final tournament, the winner of which became champions. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
