The 2013/14 season was the 23rd season of the Slovenian Ice Hockey League , the highest Slovenian ice hockey league .

Participant field and mode

The following teams took part in the championship.

HK Triglav, HDK Maribor and HK Olimpija determined the winner of the basic round in a double round. The winner was qualified for the play-offs, which were played in the best-of-three mode. HDD Olimpija Ljubljana (EBEL) as well as HK Slavija Ljubljana and Team Jesenice (INL) joined after the main round from the EBEL and the Inter-National League (INL) and were firmly qualified for the play-offs.
