Jesenice was able to pull away to 3: 1 after Laibach's opening win in the series, but Laibach finally managed to equalize with ease. Before the last game, the Ljubljana team had already had a sticker with the words Olimpija Ljubljana - first Slovenian champion - affixed to the trophy. In the game, however, Jesenice clearly prevailed and won the title. The sticker was eventually removed by the doctor Jesenices and is kept to this day as a memento of the historic victory.
