The 2004/05 season was the 14th season of the Slovenian Ice Hockey League , the highest Slovenian ice hockey league . Champion became for the fourth time in the club history of HK Jesenice .

mode

The seven teams were divided into two groups in the main round. All three teams in Group I and the first in Group II qualified for the final round, the two first-placed teams in the playoff final for the championship title, while the other two teams in the final round played for third place. The other three teams played against each other for fifth place in a return match. According to their ranking in the main round, the teams received bonus points in the second phase of the season. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
