Friedrich Georg Pieschel

Friedrich Georg Pieschel (born January 19, 1819 in Brumby , † August 15, 1886 in Naumburg (Saale) ) was a German manor owner, local politician and member of parliament.

Life

Friedrich Georg Pieschel was born as the son of the manor owner on Brumy Friedrich Pieschel. After attending grammar school in Halle and Magdeburg, he began to study law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität . In 1839 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . As an inactive he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . After graduating he was a court trainee in Naumburg until 1843. Then he managed his manor Brumby. Until 1872 he ran a sugar factory. He was then a privateer.

Pieschel was active in local politics and was a district deputy. From 1852 to 1855, 1859 to 1867 and from 1873 to 1879 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . He lived in Naumburg as a pensioner.

One son was Theodor Pieschel (politician) , one grandson Theodor Pieschel (district administrator) .
