Friedrich Julius Georg Theodor Pieschel (born July 23, 1877 in Eckartsberga , † November 13, 1960 in Leteln near Minden ) was a German administrative lawyer and parliamentarian.

Life

Theodor Pieschel was the son of the magistrate and later member of the Reichstag Theodor Pieschel . He studied law at the University of Strasbourg and became a member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg in 1900 . In 1904 he entered the Prussian civil service and in 1908 became a government assessor and unskilled worker in the Wittmund district . After several transfers he became a member of the government in 1916 and in 1917 he represented the district administrator of the Schweinitz district in Herzberg (Elster) . In 1918 he was appointed district administrator in the Lehe district and held this office until 1932. on September 1, 1919, he came as a replacement for Eduard Geiger in the provincial parliament of the province of Hanover, where he held the mandate until 1920. After complaints from the SPD and the trade unions about his administration, he applied for a transfer as district administrator in 1923; the request was not granted. In the autumn of 1932 he was put into temporary retirement. At about the same time he became acting district administrator in the district of Neuhaldensleben . In 1933 he moved with his family to Wiesbaden , where he lived until 1955. He last lived in Siegsdorf and died in Minden.
