Theodor Pieschel (politician)

Theodor Pieschel (born March 24, 1847 in Tümpling , † January 13, 1899 in Naumburg (Saale) ) was a German lawyer and member of the Reichstag.

Life

Pieschel attended the Pforta state school and studied from 1866 to 1869 at the universities of Heidelberg and Berlin . He received his doctorate in 1869 and was only then an auscultator, trainee lawyer in 1870 and assessor in 1876. From October 1, 1876 to 1888, he was district and district judge in Eckartsberga and from 1888 in Erfurt . Most recently he was a district judge in Naumburg. In 1869 he was a one-year volunteer, took part in the Franco-German War in 1870/71 and was reserve officer from 1871. In 1886 he was allowed to leave in uniform.

From 1890 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Schwarzburg-Sondershausen and the National Liberal Party . Elected as a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the 19th legislative period, he died 3 days before the opening of the first session.

His son was Theodor Pieschel (district administrator) .
