Imre Peterdi ( Hungarian Peterdi Imre ; born May 31, 1980 in Dunaújváros ) is a former Hungarian ice hockey player who was under contract for most of his career with Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák in the Hungarian ice hockey league.
Career
Imre Peterdi began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Dunaferr SE Dunaújváros , for whose professional team he was active in the Hungarian ice hockey league from 1998 to 2006 . During this time, the attacker won the national championship title twice and the national cup five times with his team. Furthermore, the right-shooter was five times runner-up with Dunaferr SE Dunaújváros. For the 2006/07 season, the Hungarian finally moved to their league rivals Újpesti TE , which he left again after this season.
The 2007/08 season began Peterdi at Naprzód Janów , for which he scored five scorer points, including two goals, in 16 games in the Polish Ekstraliga . He then returned during the season to his Hungarian homeland, where he was obliged by his ex-club, now renamed Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák, with which he participated in the newly founded MOL League in the 2008/09 season . For the 2009/10 season he joined Alba Volán Székesfehérvár , for which he scored three goals in 43 games in the Austrian ice hockey league and gave four assists. Despite his regular place, he left the team during the season and switched to the Budapest Stars from the Hungarian ice hockey league .
The 2010/11 season began Peterdi at Ferencvárosi TC , for which he ran parallel in the MOL league and the Hungarian league, before he returned to his home club Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák shortly before the end of the season, where he spent the rest of the season in the Hungarian league. For the next five years he played for his club in the MOL league. He ended his career in 2016.
International
For Hungary , Peterdi took part in the junior division of the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1999 and the U20 Junior C World Championship in 2000 . In the senior division, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2010 as well as in the World Championships in the Top Division in 2009 .
