Christel (Christelle) Robin (born September 6, 1987 in Nice ) is a former French triathlete who was later active in the ultramarathon . She is the national champion in the triathlon middle distance (2008) and is included in the best list of French triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Christel Robin started triathlon at the age of 18. Before that she practiced ballet for ten years and taekwondo for eight years. An injury put her on the bike and swimming. She was trained by former triathletes Yves Cordier (European champion 1989) and Stéphane Palazzetti.

She starts in the triathlon over the middle distance and since 2009 also over the Ironman or long distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, 42.195 km running) and was trained by the former triathlon professional Yves Cordier .
As the youngest participant, in 2009, when she was 21, she finished second in her first start over the long distance at Ironman France in Nice .

Since 2010 she has not appeared in international triathlons and has been active in ultramarathons since 2012 .
