Peter Huba (born February 17, 1986 in Topoľčany , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with Dab.Docler in the MOL league since December 2012 .

Career

Peter Huba began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Topoľčany , for whose professional team he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the first division , the second Slovak division. The defender then moved to the top club HC Slovan Bratislava from the Extraliga , with whom he won the Slovak championship title for the first time in the 2007/08 season . In parallel to playing with Slovan Bratislava, he was also on the ice as a loan player for the second division club HK Ružinov 99 Bratislava and the extra-league competitor HKm Zvolen in his three years with the capital city .

After he had started the 2009/10 season at HC Slovan Bratislava, he moved permanently to HKm Zvolen in October 2009. In the further course of the season he was also used as a loan player for HC 07 Detva in the first division. In January 2010 Huba signed a contract with HC Košice , with which he was also Slovak champion at the end of the season. The former junior international was able to repeat this success with his team in the 2010/11 season .

During the 2011/12 season, Huba was loaned to HC 46 Bardejov and later to HC 05 Banská Bystrica . He then returned to his hometown club - HC Topoľčany - and ran for it in the second division before moving to the MOL league for Dab.Docler in December 2012 . With his new club he was Hungarian champion in 2013 and 2014 .

International

For Slovakia , Huba took part in the 2004 U18 Junior World Championship . He was used in six games during the tournament.
