The 1944/1945 season was the seventh regular staging of the National League A , the highest Swiss league in ice hockey . The HC Davos was after six matchdays Swiss champion, while Grasshopper-Club in the second division relegation.
mode
Each of the seven teams played once against each group opponent, making the total number of games per team six. Champion became the winner of the main round. The bottom of the table had to compete against the best second division team in a relegation game to stay up. Each team received two points for a win and one point for a tie. If you lost, you didn't get any points.

HC Davos dominated the league with six wins in six games with a goal difference of 44: 5 and thus won the 17th Swiss championship title in the club's history.
Relegation
The Grasshopper Club, previously without a win during the entire season, lost 7-1 in the relegation game against the Young Sprinters and was relegated to the second division, while the Young Sprinters rose to the National League A for the first time in their club's history.
