mode

In contrast to the previous year, the league was increased by two to ten teams. In a common main round, each of the ten teams played in a return match against each group opponent, making the total number of games per team 18. The first in the table became Swiss champions, while the bottom of the table had to compete against the best second division team in the relegation to avoid relegation. Each team received two points for a win and one point for a tie. If you lost, you didn't get any points.
