The Cornèr Arena (previously Resega ) is an ice rink in the municipality of Porza in the Lugano district , in the Swiss canton of Ticino . It is the home ground of the seven-time Swiss champions HC Lugano and the lower-class HC Porza and is owned by the city of Lugano.

The hall was opened in 1995 after three years of construction. The Cornèr Arena with an area of ​​3,600 square meters has a total of 8,000 seats, of which 5,500 are seats. It offers 6,370 seats for concerts . It also houses a restaurant and a conference room. The Cornèr Arena is one of the most atmospheric arenas in Swiss ice hockey. In addition to the ice hockey games, concerts are occasionally held in the arena.

In addition to the main ice rink, there is a training ice hall, the so-called Pista Reseghina , which was completed in 1993 and offers space for 200 spectators.

Cornèr Bank AG has been the arena partner of HC Lugano and sponsoring partner of the ice rink since May 1, 2018 . The agreement was signed on January 26th of that year. The Resega became the Cornèr Arena .
