The Ilfishalle is an ice rink in the Swiss municipality of Langnau in the Emmental , Canton of Bern . It was completed in 1975, the year when the Langnauer won the championship for the only time so far. It serves as a venue for the SCL Tigers ice hockey club, which, with a total of 6,050 seats, was the second smallest ice rink of all National League clubs. It owes its name to the Ilfis River near the stadium .

Today's Ilfishalle emerged from the Langnau artificial ice rink, which was built in 1959. In 1975 the stadium was covered.

In 2012 the Ilfishalle was extensively renovated. The capacity decreased from 6,300 to 6,050 spectators. Overall, this construction project cost more than CHF 33 million .

The SCL Tigers are deeply rooted in the Emmental population . The average attendance is around 5,600 per game.
