Mike Künzle (born December 26, 1993 in Fehraltorf ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Biel in the Swiss National League since 2018 .

Career

Mike Künzle played at EHC Illnau-Effretikon in his childhood . He started his career in 2009 in the youth departments of the GCK Lions and the ZSC Lions . In 2013 he made the leap into the professional squad of the GCK Lions, the farm team of the ZSC Lions, and in the following season he received a two-year contract with the ZSC Lions. Between 2010 and 2014 he was Swiss champion every year, starting with Novize Top up to NLA. In 2015, Künzle extended the contract with the ZSC Lions for a further 3 years.

During 2014, Mike Künzle was invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs' Prospect Camp , which took place in July 2014.

International

For Switzerland , Künzle took part in the 2014 U20 Junior World Championship .
