Jason Fuchs (born September 14, 1995 in Bern ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Biel in the National League since the 2017/18 season . His father Régis was a Swiss national player and four times Swiss champion.

Player career

Fuchs was born in Bern, where his father was under contract with SC Bern at the time. Jason played in the youth of HC Lugano , EHC Basel and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds . At La Chaux-de-Fonds, he made his National League B (NLB) debut during the 2012/13 season , before moving to Canada for a year in the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec with the Huskies de Rouyn-Noranda went. During a game for the Huskies in March 2014, a piece of his little finger on his left hand was torn off. It was sewn on again in the hospital. After his return to Switzerland 2014, Fuchs joined the HC Ambri-Piotta and established himself in the National League A . After three seasons with the Leventines , Fuchs moved to league rivals EHC Biel , where he signed a three-year contract.

National team

In October 2015, Fuchs received his first appointment to the Swiss national team for the Germany Cup . In previous years he had booked international assignments for the country's junior selection teams.
