Ryan Keller (born January 6, 1984 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played six games in the NHL and was Swiss champion with the ZSC Lions in 2014 .

Career

Keller began his career in 2001 in the Western Hockey League with the Saskatoon Blades , for which he played until 2005. After successful years and being appointed to the league's East Second All-Star Team, he moved to the Muskegon Fury in the United Hockey League in 2005 . This season, the winger also came to his first appearances in the American Hockey League for the Grand Rapids Griffins , with whom he completed the play-offs and advanced to the third round. After another year in Grand Rapids and a transfer to the Syracuse Crunch , the Espoo Blues signed the right -handed shooter from the SM-liiga , for whom he played until 2009 and was the team's top scorer in two seasons. On May 26, 2009, Keller finally signed a contract with the Ottawa Senators from the National Hockey League for the 2009/10 season .

On July 4, 2011, Keller received a one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers . For the 2012/13 season, Keller moved to Switzerland for Genève-Servette HC . In July 2013, the Canadian signed a two-year contract with the ZSC Lions . He won the championship title with ZSC in 2014 and the cup competition in 2016. Keller ultimately stayed in Zurich until the end of the 2015/16 season and announced the end of his playing career in July 2016.
