Chris Baltisberger (born October 31, 1991 in Zofingen ) is a Swiss ice hockey player . Under contract he is currently in the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League A .

Career

Chris Baltisberger started his career in the youth department of the EHC Urdorf. In 2007 he moved to the youth departments of the GCK Lions and the ZSC Lions . In 2009 he made the leap into the professional squad of the GCK Lions, the farm team of the ZSC Lions. Since he was not yet 20 years old, he was still used in parallel with the U20 juniors of the Lions organization, with whom he won two championship titles.

After two seasons in which he also completed his first assignments for the ZSC Lions, he received his first professional contract with the ZSC Lions. In his first year with the new team, in the 2011/12 season, he won the Swiss championship title with the Lions . He was able to repeat this success two years later (2014).

During 2014, Chris Baltisberger was invited to the Edmonton Oilers Prospect Camp , which will take place in July 2014. In the Prospect Camp, potential future players are tested for their athletic abilities and trained. In September of the same year he was also invited to the Edmonton Oilers' NHL preparation camp. He missed three season games of the ZSC Lions .
