Dario Trutmann (born September 17, 1992 in Küssnacht ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been playing for the ZSC Lions in the National League since 2019 .

Career

Trutmann learned from childhood to play ice hockey in Küssnacht at the local Küssnacht ice skating club . Due to his talent, he received a contract offer from EV Zug at an early stage , to which he then switched. During the 2009/10 season he played a game for the SC Langenthal in the National League B .

2010 Trutmann was selected in the first round as the 50th player by the Plymouth Whalers in the CHL Import Draft , where he played from the 2010/11 season. For the 2012/13 season , the defender was signed by EHC Biel from the National League A , for which Trutmann made his debut in the top Swiss league and played over 100 NLA games by 2014. In February 2014 he signed a two-year contract with Genève-Servette HC , valid from the 2014/15 season, played for Servette for one year and was then transferred to Lausanne HC in May 2015 .

International

Trutmann represented his home country at the U18 Junior World Championships in 2009 and 2010 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2011 and 2012 .
