Phil Baltisberger (born November 13, 1995 in Zofingen ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with the ZSC Lions in the National League A since May 2015 . His older brother Chris is also a hockey player.

Career

The defender started his ice hockey career in the youth department of the EHC Urdorf. In 2008 he moved to Zurich in the joint youth department of the ZSC and GCK Lions .

The 2012/13 season was the last Baltisbergers with the GCK Lions . The Swiss left Zurich for Canada and played with the Guelph Storm in the Ontario Hockey League from 2013 to 2015 . At the end of his first year in Canada, he won the J. Ross Robertson Cup with Guelph Storm as the winner of the Ontario Hockey League.

He returned to the ZSC Lions in May 2015, where he met his brother Chris.

International

At the turn of 2011/2012 Phil Baltisberger took part in his first U20 Junior World Championship for Switzerland. This was followed in April 2012 by the U18 Junior World Championship .
