Samuel Guerra (born May 11, 1993 in Isone ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Davos again since the 2019/20 season . His brother Uinter Guerra is also a professional ice hockey player.
Career
Guerra was on the ice as a junior player for HC Ambrì-Piotta before moving to HC Davos in 2009 . For this he made his debut in the course of the 2009/10 season in the National League A and also played a few games with their elite A-Juniors in the same season. In the following season 2010/11 , the defender won the Swiss championship with the Bündner for the first time in his career , with Guerra being on the ice in 41 games of the regular season and recording two play-off appearances in his personal statistics. During the 2012/13 season , the left-shooter scored his first goal in the National League A against the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers on September 22, 2012 . In 2015 he won his second championship with the Grisons .
Between 2016 and 2018 Guerra played for the ZSC Lions and won his third Swiss championship title with them in 2018. In November before he had already signed a contract for the 2018/19 season with his hometown club Ambrì-Piotta, so that he left the Lions after winning the championship. After only one season he moved back to Graubünden to HC Davos.
International
For Switzerland , Guerra took part in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2010 and 2011 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2011 and 2013 .
