Hannes Bosse

Hannes Bosse (born July 2, 1923 in Wurzen ; † March 22, 2013 in Weimar ) was a German non-fiction author .

Life

After a twelve-year school in Greiz he graduated in 1942, the Notabitur . After that he was a soldier until 1945. After his return, he began training as a new teacher in Greiz in 1946 and worked as a teacher before starting to train teachers himself from 1951. He received his doctorate from the University of Education in Dresden in 1975. Bosse had been a freelance writer since 1984 and lived in Weimar since 1951. This city, in turn, is of central importance in his work.
