Johannes "Hannes" Haubitz (born September 15, 1956 in Klagenfurt , Carinthia ) is an Austrian football coach and former player on the position of a defender .

Career

Haubitz played practically continuously for Austria Klagenfurt until 1985 , because he also belonged to the team in the “2. Division ". From the summer of 1985 he went one step deeper in the "Carinthian League" for the Friesacher AC. On December 13, 1993 he became a coach at Austria Klagenfurt, where there have been many coach changes up to that point. On February 2, 1997 he was taken over by a former club colleague, u. between Walter Schoppitsch , replaced. Some time later he took over the coaching position at ASK Klagenfurt , with whom he was champion of the Carinthian League in 2000/01; the ASK then played in the regional league under the name "ASK / FCK" as the satellite club of FC Kärnten. On September 19, 2002, Haubitz - as the successor to Heinz Hochhauser - became coach of FC Kärnten for the first time, but only for one week; then the club brought the ex-Schalke national player Rüdiger Abramczik ; on March 27, 2003 this was also replaced - and howitzer was installed again. His tenure now lasted until October 27, 2003, when he had to leave due to unsuccessfulness. After only a short time, on November 10th, he took over the coaching position at the club BSV Juniors Villach , which was also in difficulties in sport , and anyway a club that is also connected to FC Kärnten. He stayed there until the end of the season in June 2004; He could not prevent the sporting descent (the club was dissolved soon afterwards due to financial problems). From July 2005 he was still a coach for four years in the football academy, which was run by the "Carinthian Football Association" at FC Carinthia and its successor club, SK Austria Carinthia.

In his private life, Haubitz was employed by the housing cooperative “Heimat” for a long time before he resigned because of his coaching position at FC Kärnten.
