Hannes Wulf Müller (born May 18, 2000 in Koethen ) is a German hockey player in the U-21 national team .

Life

Hannes Müller learned to play hockey in his home club, the Cöthener HC 02 , where he played until he moved to Uhlenhorster HC in 2016. He comes from the same club as Martin Zwicker or Max Bädelt, among others .

Even at an early age, he and his team achieved successes in national tournaments. So in 2013, as a B-boy, he won the Spreepokal in Güstrow, which is considered the innoficial "East German Championship" in the boys' field. With his move to UHC, he is also on the field in national competitions for the first time, so he won the German championship (youth B) on the field in 2016. He played his first U-16 national team game in May 2015 in France . He now has a total of 30 games and is nominated for the U-21 European Championship in Valencia . He currently plays for the 1st men's team of the UHC in the 1st Bundesliga , as well as for the club's A-youth. In 2017 he scored the decisive winning goal (4: 2) for the UHC in the final of the German Youth A Championship, against the Mannheimer HC , in the Shoot Out. In January 2018 he took part in his first international match in the course of the European indoor hockey championship in Antwerp and took 3rd place with the German national team.

His father is the former GDR national player Wulf Müller , who is currently the trainer at Osternienburger HC . His brother plays for the Cöthener HC in the 2nd Bundesliga .
