Hannes Schröers

Hans-Bernd "Hannes" Schröers (born December 29, 1936 in Krefeld ) is a former German football player and secondary school teacher for sports and English.

Career

He played most of the games for Bayer 05 Uerdingen in the district, state and association leagues. 1961/62 Schröers ran for Fortuna Düsseldorf in two games in the league , the top division at the time. During a study visit in 1955 Schröers was under contract with a youth team from West Ham United .

His son Jan (* 1969) was in the professional squad of the former Bundesliga club Bayer 05 Uerdingen in the 1989/90 season ; However, it was not used. Schröers' grandson Mika, son of Jan Schröers, played in Borussia Mönchengladbach's youth (U-15) from 2015-2017 and is currently part of the A-youth (U19) squad of the foal eleven . On August 7, 2020, he received a professional contract.

Hannes Schröers' daughter Wiebke emigrated to Copenhagen via Maastricht and is married to a Dane. The professional soccer player Jannik Vestergaard comes from this marriage .
