history
According to a directory from 1342, “Hetzelweyler” belonged to the Canons of Ansbach with a courtyard . The hamlet was parish to Weißenkirchberg (St. Wenzel). In the 14th century, the oldest fief books of the Würzburg monastery also contain entries on the hamlet. According to the 16-point reports of the Brandenburg-Ansbach office of Brunst from 1608 and 1681, Hetzweiler belonged to the municipality of Brunst and consisted of ten "teams", which were valid , taxable and leasable to the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office in Colmberg , and the office Brunst under court vogtbar to the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff in Leutershausen. According to a court register from 1641, as a result of the Thirty Years' War from 1632 onwards , the hamlet was "completely deserted, mostly invaded and no one existed". A settlement agreement concluded in 1710 between the Hohenlohe house of Schillingsfürst and Brandenburg-Ansbach regarding Fraisch awarded the settlement to the Ansbach margraves. At the end of the Old Kingdom , Hetzweiler consisted of 12 properties belonging to the Ansbach caste office in Colmberg, namely seven farms, three Köbler estates, a house and a small house. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .
In 1806 Hetzweiler came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, Hetzweiler was assigned to the Brunst tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brunst, founded in 1810 . 1856, a blacksmith, a shopkeeper, a carpenter, a butcher, a Hetzweiler were in addition to the farmers Büttner , a shoemaker and a midwife resident. In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Brunst and thus also Hetzweiler was incorporated into Leutershausen on May 1, 1978.
