Holzmühle (colloquially: Holtsmíl ) is a district of the town of Leutershausen in the district of Ansbach in the Central Franconian district .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Krämleinsbach (also called "Krümmleinsbach" in the 19th century), a left tributary of the Altmühl , and on the north-western edge of the Rauenbucher Forest , which is also touched by the Nuremberg – Crailsheim railway line . The Rauenberg ( 466  m above sea level ) rises around half a kilometer east, and the Kühnberg around 0.5 km west. A community road leads to Wiedersbach (0.9 km northeast) or to state road 2249 (0.5 km southwest).

history

The property was first mentioned by name in 1318 as "Holtzmule" meaning the mill on the forest . The grain mill belonged to the rule Lüchau zu Wiedersbach and in 1591 came into the possession of the rule Eyb by inheritance . According to the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach office of Leutershausen from 1681, the mill consisted of two teams; the second "only recently rebuilt" - probably after being destroyed in the Thirty Years' War . In the Vetterschen Oberamtsbeschreibung from 1732 the "Holtz Mühl" was listed as an "adelich Widerspachischer Mühl", which was parish to St. Peter in Leutershausen and had to give the tithe to the rule Eyb zu Wiedersbach. The bailiwick inner Etters was part of the Eybschen Rittergut Wiedersbach , the bailiwick apart from Etters and the Fraisch were rights of the Brandenburg-Ansbach town bailiwick office in Leutershausen. Nothing changed about that until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the community edict, Holzmühle was assigned to the Wiedersbach tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Wiedersbach, founded in 1810 . The Eybsche patrimonial jurisdiction in Wiedersbach- Rammersdorf , which had existed since 1796, ended in 1842 with a waiver. In 1851 the Holzmühle provided the mayor of the Wiedersbach community with Georg Häslein.

In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Wiedersbach and thus also the wood mill was incorporated into the city of Leutershausen on January 1, 1972.
