Pfetzendorf is a district of the city of Leutershausen in the district of Ansbach in the administrative district of Middle Franconia in Bavaria .

geography

The hamlet lies on the Altmühl and Brunnengraben, a right tributary of the Altmühl. The Weidlach forest is around 0.5 km to the west and Seeholz is around 0.5 km to the east. A communal road leads to Höchstetten (0.4 km north) and Zweiflingen (0.4 km south). The place is on the Altmühltal cycle path .

history

Pfetzendorf was originally under the feudal rule of the Hochstift Würzburg . According to an invoice from the Canons' Monastery of St. Gumbert in Ansbach from 1342, the monastery in "Phötzendorf" had a subject. In the 15th century, the Margraves of Ansbach were feudal lords over a farm in Pfetzendorf, as can be seen from feudal letters from 1423, 1459 and 1544. The fiefdom was given to the Jochsberg lordship .

According to Vetterschen Oberamtsbeschreibung from 1732, the hamlet at that time consisted of three subjects from the Ansbach Abbey and two from the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Jochsberg . He formed a parish with Zweiflingen , was parish in St. Erhard in Frommetsfelden (the parish of the Würzburg diocese had become Protestant with the first Brandenburg church visit in 1528 ) and exempted from tithe . Each of the two offices held the bailiwick inner Etters on its subject, while the bailiwick apart from Etters and the Fraisch took care of the Brandenburg-Ansbach city ​​bailiwick of Leutershausen . The community rule and the shepherd's staff were rights of the Vogtamt Jochsberg.

At the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, Pfetzendorf consisted of five subjects. A half yard and a Köblergut belonged to the Ansbach Abbey, two Köbler estates and a house were owned by the Jochsberg Vogtamt. The legal relationships of 1732 remained unchanged. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the municipal edict, Pfetzendorf was assigned to the Frommetsfelden tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Frommetsfelden, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Bieg . On July 1, 1972, Pfetzendorf was incorporated into Leutershausen as part of the regional reform .

The townscape offers some interesting half-timbered buildings (barns).
